Who We Serve
  • Individuals across ALL disability types:
    • Physical - Amputees, Missing Limbs, Paralysis
    • Intellectual and Developmental
    • Neurological - Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Spina Bifida, Spinal Cord Injuries
    • Vision Impaired
    • Disabled Veterans including those with PTSD

What We Do
  • Spread Freedom & Joy to the Special Needs Community through there Inclusion in the game of golf
  • Provide FREE Adaptive Golf Clinics at Public Schools, Local Golf Courses
  • Take those ready to the course to experience play (Get Out and Play)
  • Train New Adaptive Golf Coaches
  • Evaluate courses in Illinois to determine accessibility

2019 Accomplishments
  • Provided 9,499 Participant Lessons at no cost making FGA the largest provider of Adaptive golf lessson's in the United States
  • Introduced over 1000 New Participants to the Game of Golf
  • Took over 200 Individuals out on the Course
  • FGA has over 70 Adaptive Golf Coaches

By the Numbers
  • 1 in 5 Americans lives with a disability (57 million total)
  • 18 million would like to play golf but only 6 million play today
  • There are over 305,000 veterans suffering from PTSD in the US
​Many who want to learn golf have found that golf facilities could not help them or turned them away. Our intention is to include golfers with physical and developmental disabilities regardless of source or origin, assisting them in focusing on the positive aspects of their lives and increasing their sense of enjoyment. Positive social, therapeutic and rehabilitative results are the real benefits of the game of golf.
